Becoming in Blue
Through blown glass and references to traditional blue-and-white porcelain, the project explores identity, transformation, and the tensions between individual difference and collective belonging.

Transformation - Coexistence - Becoming -
The project was inspired by my experience growing up in Taiwan, where different cultural histories, political perspectives, and inherited values coexist simultaneously.
Rather than seeing identity as something fixed, I became interested in how identity is constantly shaped through interaction, negotiation, and change. Blue-and-white porcelain became a starting point because it traditionally represents stability, continuity, and cultural heritage, while glass allows me to challenge and transform those ideas.
